Dr. Dimitrios Kostopoulos is an internationally recognized leader and pioneer in diagnostic testing within physical therapy and musculoskeletal medicine, with more than 38 years of clinical experience. As a Board-Certified Clinical Electrophysiology Specialist (ECS), Dr. Kostopoulos holds advanced doctoral degrees in Clinical Electrophysiology, Physical Therapy, and Medicine, making him one of the most highly credentialed experts in the field of neuromusculoskeletal diagnostics.

He serves as Residency Director for the Hands-On Diagnostics Clinical Electrophysiology Residency Program, one of the most advanced training programs in Electromyography (EMG), Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), and Neuro-Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (NMSKUS). His academic appointments have included past Clinical Affiliate Assistant Professor at Florida Atlantic University’s Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine and guest lecturer at numerous academic institutions, where he has taught and mentored thousands of healthcare professionals in the application of advanced diagnostics.

As Co-Founder of Hands-On Companies, Dr. Kostopoulos has been instrumental in advancing the integration of diagnostic testing into physical therapy practice, helping transform the profession's scope and impact on patient care. He has authored multiple books, research articles, and publications, and served as Associate Editor of the Diagnostic Section of the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies.

A globally recognized authority in electrodiagnostic medicine, myofascial pain, and musculoskeletal ultrasound, Dr. Kostopoulos continues to lead efforts in education, clinical practice, research, and healthcare entrepreneurship. His contributions have earned him numerous awards for clinical excellence, education, and innovation in healthcare business development.

Dr. Konstantine Rizopoulos is an internationally recognized authority in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging, myofascial pain, and advanced manual therapy, with more than 38 years of clinical experience. As a Board-Certified Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSK), Dr. Rizopoulos has become a leading expert in the application of diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound within physical therapy and orthopedic care.

Dr. Rizopoulos currently serves as the Assistant Director of the MSKUS Fellowship Program of the American Academy of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (AAMU), where he helps oversee one of the most advanced postgraduate training programs for healthcare professionals in diagnostic ultrasound imaging. Through his work, he is actively shaping the next generation of physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare providers integrating musculoskeletal ultrasound into clinical practice.

As Co-Founder of Hands-On Companies, Dr. Rizopoulos has been instrumental in the development of innovative diagnostic and educational programs that have expanded the scope and clinical capabilities of physical therapy practice across the country. Over the course of his career, he has personally treated over 150,000 patients and performed thousands of musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations, providing critical diagnostic insights that directly influence patient management and outcomes.

Dr. Rizopoulos holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and has co-authored multiple books, peer- reviewed research articles, and educational materials in the fields of myofascial pain, musculoskeletal medicine, and diagnostic imaging. A frequent speaker at national and international conferences, he is widely regarded for his expertise, clinical insight, and dedication to advancing healthcare through education, research, and cutting-edge diagnostic technologies.

His ongoing mission is to elevate patient care by empowering healthcare professionals with advanced diagnostic tools that improve accuracy, streamline clinical decision-making, and ultimately optimize outcomes.

Dr. Albassiouny is a licensed physical therapist specializing in musculoskeletal, spinal rehabilitation. He is a Board-Certified Clinical Electrophysiologic Specialist, graduated from the Hands-On Diagnostics Clinical Electrophysiology Residency Program, one of the most advanced training programs in Electromyography (EMG), Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), and Neuro-Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (NMSKUS). He holds a Master’s in Physical Therapy, a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), and is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).

Since 2011, he has been dedicated to helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life. He provides precise diagnostics and tailored rehabilitation strategies.

Dr. Albassiouny is deeply passionate about empowering patients through movement and evidence-based rehabilitation. He takes a hands-on, patient-centered approach, ensuring that each individual receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs. With expertise in TMJ dysfunction, orofacial pain, and upper cervical disorders, he strives to relieve pain, restore mobility, and enhance overall well-being.

Kranthi Bairam is a physical therapist with over six years of experience. Holding a PT, MSPT, and D-EDX, he has three years of experience in electromyography and nerve conduction studies. He works with patients to identify issues such as pain, numbness, and abnormal nerve function, as well as conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, peripheral neuropathy, and other neuromuscular diseases. By utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques, he provides accurate assessments and treatment plans for optimal patient care.

What he enjoys the most about his job as a physical therapist and EMG specialist is identifying the root cause of the problem for the patient and providing an accurate diagnosis.

Dr. Rawat is a Board Certified Electrophysiology specialist by the ABPTS as well as Board Certified in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. She is also a Senior Professional Associate for Hands-On EMG Testing and an integral part to the success of our organization. Dr. Rawat has been actively conducting and has published research in the area of Clinical Electrophysiology. Her teaching appointments extend to faculty of Hands-On Seminars, Director of the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Fellowship program of Hands-On Diagnostics and member of the Medical Advisory Board of HODS as well as guest lecturer for various university programs in the NY metropolitan area.

Dr. Rawat is also a Point of Care certified specialist in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging and an item writer for the MSKUS certification exam.

Dr. Mohamed, a licensed physical therapist with eight years of experience, holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Arcadia University. He specializes in orthopedic conditions and sports injuries, with strong expertise in treating joint and muscle disorders. Dr. Mohamed provides personalized, hands-on treatment plans and is also highly skilled in performing Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Studies.

He is dedicated to supporting patients on their journey to recovery and improved quality of life.

Mohamed Ibrahim, PT, DPT. He specializes in electrodiagnostic medicine (EMG) and is committed to providing high-quality patient care through evidence-based evaluation and treatment.

Dimitris is a Certified Electrodiagnostic Technician with more than six years of experience in the field. He earned his NCT-C certification through the American Academy of Clinical Electrodiagnosis after successfully completing a rigorous and comprehensive educational program that included both didactic and practical training.

In his current role, Dimitris works closely with our Board-Certified Associates, providing essential support during diagnostic procedures. His responsibilities include patient preparation, technical assistance, and administrative coordination, ensuring that each study is performed efficiently and with the highest standards of accuracy and patient care.

Through his expertise and dedication, Dimitris contributes significantly to the smooth operation of our diagnostic services and to the overall patient experience.

James brings his over 20 years of experience as a senior-level HR/Recruiter and business development specialist to Hands-On Diagnostics. Most of his professional career has been in the Physical Therapy private practice sector working with ambitious, driven owners and executives who have dreams of going big(ger) and just need the right support, backup, and capacity to see it accomplished.

He has strategically planned and executed programs for clinics that have seen expansion from as few as 4 offices to up to 16 offices across 3 states. Working directly with various owners and their staff throughout the boroughs of NYC and down the Rocky Mountains, he's hired hundreds of effective and productive therapists, managers and staff, as well as created the training regimens for those people and their staff.

In addition to business expansion acumen, he's a world-traveler, successful soccer director and a very proud father of 3 amazing beings. His Mantra is "Keep the constant create in life and be surprised by nothing!"

Becca serves as the Administrative Assistant at Hands On EMG, providing the day-to-day support that keeps the office running smoothly behind the scenes. She brings organization, reliability, and a genuine care for the practice to everything she does. Becca thrives on problem-solving and coordinating the moving pieces of daily operations, and finds real satisfaction in knowing her work helps the team deliver the best possible care.

Bibi has been in healthcare management for the past 10 years, where she was primarily responsible for the administration, coordination, and oversight of the facility.

Jose A Marrero Jr. has been a Human Resources Director at our Astoria location since 2020 with over 20 Years of Experience with Human Resources and Accounting/Bookkeeping. His job involves employee onboarding, orientation, employee compliance recording, IRS & Multi-state Tax Reporting, medical and other benefit negotiations, employee organizational training, and chief bookkeeping duties under Hands-On Companies.

He attended DeVry College of New York where he received his Bachelor’s in Professional Studies with a Concentration in Accounting in 2014. Jose is also certified in QuickBooks, both online and desktop versions, from Fred Pryor Seminars in 2015. He later graduated in 2016 from Keller Graduate School of Business Management where he received his.

Jose speaks English and Spanish. For fun, he enjoys watching action movies (Marvel, DC Comics), Sci-Fi movies (Star Wars, Star Trek), Latin dancing, attending the theater (Especially Musicals), all beach & pool-related activities, and ice skating. Skydiving is on his bucket list!

Vicky is the Billing Manager of Hands-On EMG Testing and she has vast experience in many areas of billing and especially diagnostic testing billing.

Diana is a seasoned Billing Specialist with over 18 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management. She is highly skilled in all aspects of the billing process, with a strong focus on denied claims resolution, appeals processing, and collections.

What drives Diana most in her work is the satisfaction of turning denials into reimbursements—helping practices recover revenue efficiently while ultimately supporting patient care. Her dedication and expertise ensure that every claim is managed with precision and persistence, making her an invaluable part of the team.

Elan Etstein serves as the Chief Marketing Officer of Hands-On EMG Testing, bringing over 15 years of specialized experience in referral management and business development within the healthcare industry.

Throughout his career, Elan has cultivated and maintained trusted relationships with hundreds of physicians, attorneys, and healthcare professionals across the New York City and Long Island regions. His extensive network of referring providers, combined with his deep understanding of patient care pathways, has played a key role in expanding access to advanced diagnostic testing services for countless patients.

Driven by a passion to inspire others to improve their health and reach their full potential, Elan takes great pride in contributing to each patient’s recovery journey — ensuring that referring providers and patients alike benefit from timely, accurate, and clinically meaningful diagnostic evaluations.

Under his leadership, Hands-On EMG Testing continues to grow as a trusted partner to the medical and legal communities, delivering high-quality, evidence-based diagnostic services that support optimal patient outcomes.

Eric Viloria has spent three years as an Exercise Specialist with our sister company, Hands-On PT, while also pursuing his four-year Marketing degree at Lehman College School of Business. He’s proud to combine his knowledge from both fields to help spread the word about what we do and to educate others on how EMG (Electromyography) can make a significant difference in healthcare.
